>Dust: radiographie de la poussière. Inspiré d’une photographie de Man Ray, Élevage de poussière, Dust nous propose une exploration sur le changement d’état de la matière. Au seuil de l’imperceptible, des pigments sont en suspension autour d’un champ magnétique. Ils s’organisent aléatoirement en réseaux fibreux pour en devenir des composites d’une complexité hypnotisante. Les particules sonores couplées aux agrégats lumineux sont ici à une échelle où s’annulent tous les repères. Des formes hybrides apparaissent, telles des chimères virtuelles, altérant la perception de l’espace, jouant avec le regard du spectateur. Charnière entre l’invisible et le visible, la poussière devient alors un vertige et la surface vidéo une véritable accumulation en rayon X.
Création très attendue, Dust sera présentée pour la première fois en Amérique du nord à Elektra.

> Inspired by a Man Ray photograph titled Dust Farming, Dust is the venue for the exploration of how the state of matter changes. At the threshold of the imperceptible, pigments are airborne around a magnetic field. They organize randomly into fibrous networks to become the composites of a hypnotic complex array. The sound particles coupled with the light aggregates appear at a scale that cancels all points of reference. At the cusp of the visible and invisible, the dust then becomes a dizzy spell and the video surface transforms into a genuine X-ray buildup.
